CleverBooks Review

Clever Books 5

As much as I love writing about technology, I do love to read a good book! So when the two are blended together you can imagine how exciting that is. Clever Books offer this in the form of educational children’s fairy tales that come to life through 3D reality.

The product I am reviewing from CleverBooks is the 3D augmented reality book titled “Clever Fairy Tales”. CleverBooks is a creative company with the strapline “Awesome Magic Books for Clever Kids and Smart Parents”, and it’s easy to see how children would perceive these books as magic.

With a two year old daughter at home, I was excited to add this book to her collection of bed-time stories. The book itself is appealing to kids with five educational fairy tales to explore. There are 5 educative stories in the book and include: about being courageous, taking medicine when sick, eating vegetables because it’s healthy, not being afraid of the darkness and tooth fairy secrets.

In addition to the great stories you can bring the characters and stories to life through a mobile app. This lets you and your children interact with the characters from each fairy tale and create that illusion of magic. You can have fun with a pirate and his treasure box, a lovely elephant teddy, the tooth fairy who will be showing tricks, a very cute stomach who helps to understand what is healthy amongst others.

At a very reasonable €20.99 you are getting not just a book, but magic fairy tales that your child will want to revisit over and over again. In addition to that you can choose between four Irish charities that €2.00 from each book sold is donated to.

CleverBooks also offer other educational books that allow you to personalise with your child as the main character and also includes image of your child throughout the stories.
