Swann Launches Smart Video Doorbell

Swann, a global leader in security monitoring solutions, today reveals the Smart Video Doorbell, a completely wireless security solution empowering consumers to see and talk to visitors via Smartphone from anywhere in the world. The Doorbell will be revealed at a series of demonstrations during CES.

Taking just minutes to set up, the Smart Video Doorbell is rechargeable, features night vision and also offers a convenient wired option, so consumers can connect it to any existing doorbell wiring.

Now, wireless technology has allowed doorbells to get so much smarter and easier to use, and with this latest product offering we’re helping our consumers protect that frontline.”

Swann will also demo their new smart home technology integration to the company’s current range of wired security solutions. Initially, the products will support voice-activated software, including Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, and smart home assistant platforms Google Home and Amazon Echo. Consumers will also be able to view security footage through streaming devices Google Chromecast.

According to Mr. Birch:

Imagine the convenience of being able to verbally ask to see what’s happening at the front door, and then switch the view to the back door – all whilst you’re cooking or watching television.”
